Agassiz Associates has been providing mental health services to Grand Forks and the surrounding areas since 2004. We are the only private clinic in Grand Forks that provides a full spectrum of clinical services including therapy, evaluations, drug and alcohol treatment, and psychiatric medication managements. Dr. Rebecca Green

Dr. Rebecca Green - Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Green graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1994. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of North Dakota. She is a member of the North Dakota Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. She works with adults, adolescents, and children. 

Dr. Green's practice focuses primarily on providing individual psychotherapy. She is experienced in conducting psychological evaluations and consultations. Areas of expertise for Dr. Green include the treatment of depression, abuse issues, grief and loss issues, anxiety, and women’s issues.
Dr. Heidi Jensen

Dr. Heidi Jensen - Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Jensen graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1997. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of North Dakota. Dr. Jensen is a member of the North Dakota Psychological Association. She works with children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Jensen's practice primarily focuses on providing individual psychotherapy. She is experienced in conducting emotional and cognitive psychological evaluations. Areas of expertise for Dr. Jensen include the treatment of depression, anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Dr. Jensen also is trained to address parenting issues, marital issues, and change of life issues.
Dr. Karin Walton

Dr. Karin Walton, LPCC, LAC - Counselor

Karin Walton graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Ph.D. in educational Leadership. Dr. Walton is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in North Dakota. She works with adults and adolescents.

Dr. Walton conducts self-referred and legal alcohol and drug evaluations as well as offers low-intensity outpatient treatment (individual and group). Dr. Walton’s areas of expertise include treatment of depression, anxiety, couples, substance abuse, and relapse prevention.
Nikki Anvinson

Nikki Anvinson, PA-C - Physician Assistant 

Nikki Anvinson graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in psychology. She went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1999

She is a North Dakota native who has worked in the field of psychiatric medication management for over 15 years. She has worked with both adolescents and adults. Her treatment areas of interest include anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Paula Osowski

Paula Osowski, PA-C - Physician Assistant 

Paula Osowski graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University with a B.S. in chemistry. She went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medial Center Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1999 with a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies

Ms. Osowski has over 15 years of experience in psychiatric medication management. She has worked with both adolescents and adults. Her treatment areas of interest include depression, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders.
Angela N. Muhs

Angela N. Muhs, MSW, LICSW - Social Worker

Angela Muhs graduated from the University of North Dakota with a master’s degree in social work in 2003. She has been working in the area of mental health ever since. Angie is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota as an Independent Clinical Social Worker

She works primarily with adults and adolescents in the areas of anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, women’s issues, communication, and other life transitions. Angie is also on faculty at the University of North Dakota as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work.
Julie A. Riddle

Julie A. Riddle, MSW, LICSW - Social Worker 

Julie Riddle graduated from the University of North Dakota with a master’s degree in social work in 2002. Julie is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota as an Independent Clinical Social Worker. She provides therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. Her treatment areas of interest include depression, anxiety disorders, parenting issues, adjustment issues, self-esteem issues, communication issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, loss, and bereavement.
Alissa Fugazzi

Alissa Fugazzi, MSW - Social Worker

Alissa Fugazzi has practiced social work since 2002. She graduated with a master's degree in social work from the University of North Dakota and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Her training includes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) and Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy 
(AF-CBT). 

Alissa has some training in Play Therapy and uses it as a tool to help engage children as well as give them another way to express themselves. She provides individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults as well as family therapy and couples counseling. Hear treatment areas include mental health assessment and treatment planning for anxiety, depression, adjustments, trauma, self-harm behaviors, anger management and attachment issues (to include foster care and adoption).
Tanner Grimsley

Tanner Grimsley, MS, LAC, LAPC - Addiction Counselor

Tanner Grimsley graduated from Mount Mercy University in Iowa with a B.A. in psychology. He is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of North Dakota

Tanner works with adults and adolescents in the field of addiction. Tanner conducts low-intensity outpatient treatment (LIOP) as well as intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) with adolescents and adult. Tanner also provides addiction education to individuals and families.
Jana Thesien

Jana Thesien, LAC - Addiction Counselor

Jana Thesien graduated from University of North Dakota with a bachelor's degree in social work. Jana is a Licensed Addition Counselor in the state of North Dakota. She works with adults conducting chemical dependency evaluations and providing outpatient treatment programming, in both individual and group settings. Jana has had additional training in the Matrix Model and cognitive restructuring techniques.

Lori Mohagen, LAC - Addiction Counselor

Lori Mohagen graduated from University of North Dakota with a bachelor's degree in social work and criminal justice. She is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of North Dakota. Lori works with adults in the field of addiction conducting chemical dependency evaluations and providing outpatient treatment programming, in both individual and group setting. Lori also conducts DUI seminars.
